Adrienne Pierce fits the K3YS model with her story of adversity, triumph and success. Born in the city of Te Kuiti 'where legends are made', Struck by tragedy at three years old her dad died in a car accident at 32, she grew up with her hardworking mother and younger sister.
She is Ngati Maniapoto on her mothers side and Ngati Porou on her fathers side as well as her dads father, her grandfather being born at Broken Hill, Australia.
She has traced his family back to 16th century, Hampshire England and has visited the village that carries her maiden name once before and plans on returning again next year. Heritage & ancestry are a hobby she is fascinated by.
The journey from Te Kuiti to here via Hawkes Bay has been filled with triumphs and many successes. Twenty five years as a business builder, starting three businesses from a blank page which included co founding ‘PORSE’ Network in the mid 90's, the second of the three businesses.
